Privacy Policy

Deep Playa Academy is a private homeschooling record-keeping system operated by the Dvir family for their own household. It is not a public service and does not offer accounts to the general public.

What the system handles

• Audio recordings of the family's own homeschool sessions, and transcripts of them.
• Photographs of the children's schoolwork and activities, uploaded by the parents.
• Written summaries generated from that material, and a record of household chores and allowance.

All of this concerns members of the operating household. There is no sign-up and no advertising on this site.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics on every page, including the pages the children in the household use. It records ordinary usage information — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type — so the operator can see how the site is used. It is the operator's own Google Analytics property; the data is not sold, and it is not used for advertising or combined with the household records described above.

How Google user data is used

The application requests a single Google account permission, gmail.send. It is used for one purpose: to send the family's own summary emails from the account owner's own address. The application does not read, search, download, modify or store the contents of any mailbox, and it requests no other Google account scope.

Deep Playa Academy's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Where it is stored, and who else sees it

Material is stored in the operator's own Google Cloud account. Some processing is performed by third-party services under the operator's accounts — Google (including Gemini), Anthropic, and Soniox for transcription — solely in order to produce the family's own summaries.

Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for advertising, and nothing is disclosed to anyone outside the household except as those processors require to perform the processing described above, or where the law requires it.

Children

The material concerns the operator's own children and is handled by their parents. The site is not directed at children generally and collects nothing from visitors.

Retention and requests

Records are kept as the family's own educational history for as long as the household finds them useful. Members of the household may ask the operator to correct or remove material at any time, at the address above.

Changes

This policy may change as the system does. The effective date above will be updated when it does.
